Walmart pricing on Vista

How do you propose folks who want to upgrade from XP are going to accomplish
that with an OEM edition? You act like you just got off of the banana boat
or that the rest of us have never heard about OEM editions for the last
dozen or more years.

How did you know I just got off the banana boat? By the way, I had a nice
cabin with a view. The first few days were good, but on the third day, it
rained. Had to stay in the cabin and play with my OEM version of Vista on
the laptop. Worked pretty goood, no issues. But for the rest of the people
who know about OEM software and I'll bet quite a few do, I'll bet they
didn't know they could get it at 50% off. And by the way, I was the ghost
writer for the article and the magazine decided to publish my story. How
could they resist from someone who just got off the boat?

You must have not read my reply. I stated that I was on the boat in plain
english. I even have the ticket stubs to prove it!

Because I saw you off on your trip! :)

OEM is no secret. But it is not for replacing an OS. It is for being the
first OS on a computer, not the next.

You got ripped off.

Installing is IMHO hald the fun. :)

I think Staples offered FREE installation .
