This program does not work with 5600. Is there an update?

Version 2.1 works fine here installed in both XP and Vista. Have you
contacted the authors? They have very responsive support forums.

A new development. I appear to have two boot option screens (I have seen
this from time to time with earlier builds). One has the boot options as I
have named them with VBP in the past and one with all pretty generic names
including a couple of recovery entries and a Setup entry from a failed
install.

From time to time the first one shows up during a restart as it did just a
few minutes ago and I can grab XP Pro x64.

VistaBoot Pro 2.1 still gives the same error in XP Pro x64 as it did in
Vista RC1 x64. I may have to fix all this up with bcdedit. I think I have
a pretty abnormal boot folder for it to act up like this.

Dennis, how did you delete those files in the c:\boot\ directory?

When I try to delete the whole directory I get "Couldnot delete xxxx.xxx
Access is denied". Getting rid of the directory would be nice.

Please tell me how to delete that directory.

That does not work.

I even changed the attributes for each file and I still can not delete any
files and/or directory. I guess the only way to get rid of that BOOT
directory is to reinstall Windows XP.

You have to take complete ownership for that folder (and subfolders) because
it is created from Vista
