Hi, this was great advise it worked for me..... Sometimes just the litle
tricks is all a person needs. Thanks

This is a major flaw for MS, and this fix should not be necessary - there is
still a major issue that needs to be addressed.

I purchased vista for the number of errors and crashes XP was giving me and
this heap of JUNK is no better, add the cost of new hardware and software
incompatables and only a fool would use Vista,I"m a new fool who will have an
unregistered product in 22 days time.

I do not even have an options button in the tools box of Windows mail, there
is in Microsoft word., can anyone help?

Sorry Carla, I don't even have the options box available in the tools of
Windows mail, the only options are in tools of microsoft word

<sigh>
As mentioned many times in this thread, you're looking in the wrong window.
Look in WinMail's main window. The window you see when WinMail first
starts.

I answered another post of yours. If you had bothered to read the whole
thread you would have known the answer without posting.

I was doing what Mr Chuckles was doing.
I had already started a letter and was trying to check the tools from the
"mail".
I had skipped through the help letters and missed the one saying to go to
the main page first.
Just have to hold your mouth right to get it to work :o)
thanks for the help.
This was real nice to have.
thanks all

I too had this issue with the error message "Language is no longer
available for spell checking. Please select another in the spelling
options dialoge".
and changed it to German then did the spell check (it
was written in English) and when I did the spell check it said the spelling
check was complete (indicating it was correct)! So I then changed the spell
check back to "English" and
misspelled words on purpose-it still said your spelling check is complete.
Any
other suggestions?

Hi: I definately had to thank you for your help. it took me awhile before i
found the options box because i was looking for it on the actual letter that
i was composing. thanks much yvette

This proves that "Carla" is nothing more than an automated useless response
to Vista purchasers who are seeking help with a faulty load of junk called
Vista. If this "Carla" had a brain I have already said that there is NO
"options" dialogue box containrd within my TOOLS of Windows Mail. Just watch
and I bet "Carla" responds again with identical text. r (can't even spell
check this)

Uh, are you blind?
Perhaps you were looking at a sub-window instead of the main window
of Windows Mail.
