Care to address the issues or can you only trot out your ill informed
insults?

You don't address issues.

You make BS statements about ubuntu being stable.

Canonicals own bug.launchpad begs to offer 46,000 reasons to differ.

Losing track of the trail of Lies ?

Would have posted sooner!
That darn 25 post limit gets annoying!

I sure do and you ignore what I say and trot out straw men and ad
hominems because you can't do anything else.

Mine and dozens of installs I have done are.

Yawn.

You want me to score you some heroine ?

I don't know...I saw that movie "Midnight Express".

Nah...I'll stay here !

If you have the 32-bit version of Vista installed, click
on Vista 32-Bit Edition, Radeon, Radeon HD 3870 Series
and then click on "Go". Download file "Option 1".
Make sure to uninstall your current ATI drivers before installing the new ones.
The ATI file you download should have an option to remove the
old ATI software when you execute it.

Regrettably, I installed them all. Hopefully that won't cause a problem.

Also--when I go to the ATI site, is there an easy way to figure out what
drivers I need to update?

Thanks very much for your help.

I understood why you think Vista is crap and I agree with you.

Hahaha...that's funny...you are too broke to purchase Vista so you know
nothing at all about it.
Get lost you lying linux troll.

Only if she's Super Girl or Wonder Woman.
I don't know...I saw that movie "Midnight Express".

Yeah, that was Turkey 30 years ago. A lot has changed. They are now
candidates for EU membership. I can see you are about as knowledgeable
regarding countries as you are operating systems. BTW, the book has a
much different ending but you know Hollywood ...
Nah...I'll stay here !

When I said go out, how in the world did you think I meant go to Turkey?

Alias--You keep showing up like a bad penny. You should take your own advice
and get a life.

Don't follow my sound advice, then. It's your computer. If you don't
like my posts either use self control and don't read them or learn how
to use a kill file because, pal, I ain't leaving this group anytime soon.

Alias

Always with the kind word. With your remarkable brilliance, it's surprising
you condescend even to talk to people on this group.

You should know by now I have not the slightest interest in your advice, so,
if you want to show self-control, quit replying to my postings.

Carey--

When I try to install that driver, I get an "install package failure" with
the following message: "Could not load file or assembly 'MOM.Implementation,
Version=2.0.3154.36980, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=90ba9c70f846762e' or
one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."

Um, you started the insults. If you can't take the heat, get the ****
off my street.

If you don't follow my advice, you'll be sorry.

I'd tell you how to solve it but you don't want my advice. Chuckle. Keep
following Carey's advice and see how far it gets you.

Your advice was ubuntu.
No one using Vista wants to go backwards.

By the way / there are better linux distros than ubuntu / check 'em out.
One is what ubuntu is based on.
Another sounds like Moose.

That was my first advice. I then recommended NOT getting hard ware
drivers from Windows Update but to get them from the hardware
manufacturer's web site. Do you disagree?
No one using Vista wants to go backwards.

Opinion. You do know the difference between an opinion and a fact or do you?

"Better" is an opinion. Got any facts?
Another sounds like Moose.

What's it called, Palin's Distro?
