And Dick replies with his usual insult because he can't respond intelligenty

Everyone act surprised.

Another brilliant reply from an "MVP." Always there to provide "help."

I can only assume MS thinks no one reads Usenet anymore. It's obvious no one
from MS that is involved with the MVP program does; other than bots.

The help was already given The gentleman (used loosely) refuses to consider
the answer because he has his own agenda.

You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew!

It is entirely understandable WHY this happens (causes Vista to need to be
reactivated). It's too bad that people just can't accept the fact and make
that 5 minute phone call. I have done so a few times already. It is
painless.

Saying it "only takes 5 minutes" is like saying "He only stole 5 bucks
from me" or "it only takes 5 seconds to hang up on a phone solicitor".

Actually it's you who mis read my reply. you spoke of the activate over
the phone, stated it goes quickly. I pointed out it can take much longer
as the system doesn't always work as expected, and even when it does, it
doesn't always get what you enter correctly, forcing a retry.

Richard, the overall point you're missing is that such a system
shouldn't even be needed if they people upstairs knew what they were
doing. The entire business aroudn the "activation" nonsense doesn't do a
damn thing to stop piracy, it simply makes things more difficult for the
average joe consumer.
