That's all very nice in theory, have you ever tried to BUY a PC with an OS
ready installed that is NOT windows? VERY hard to come by. Yes you can
install your own, but the vast majority of Joe Public either can't or don't
want to be bothered with it. That is called "near monopoly" and is open to
all sorts of abuse whether intentional or otherwise.
