Nothing at all wrong with it -on it now, you know how it is, when you see other machines you want to have a look at them and compare. The lappy has been the best thing I could have got post op - wireless connection and all that!

Just upgraded the long overdue Ram for my T43 from 512 single stick to 1 GB. By installing the second stick of 512 MB the system now detects it as Dual Channel and reporting it as 128 bit instead of 64 bit before. The speed at which some of the programs open or load is pretty brisk compared to before. The booting times have also improved. I have a feeling the the Laptop has more breathing space than before.
One thing which I could not comprehend is the benchmark before and after, it is almost same despite the fact that the system is more responsive and bit quicker. All in all a worthwhile upgrade that everyone should consider.
When I had the previous model T41 I had done the same by upgrading the Ram and the difference was very much noticed.
