"Its" cannot possibly be that. Such usage requires a previously
clearly enumerated object to which the pronoun can refer, and such
is obviously missing in the original as quoted.

I was just answering the "What is an 'its'" question, I can't speak to
the previous poster's intended use of "its" in this context.

Disk Management doesnt recognize the secondary drive. In windows I
have no secondary drive. My BIOS recognizes that I have a secondary
drive but it has a limit of 137G.

If this bit of information was included in the original message, I
would have told myself, "Heck if I know," and moved on.
If the computer was in front of me, I would check the jumpers on the
two drives to be sure the drives are set so they operate compatibly
with each other.
If the jumpers are okay, I would see if Windows XP setup program can
see the second drive by booting from the CD, select new install, and
proceed up to the screen that shows the connected drives.
Assuming the second drive isn't seen by Windows XP setup, I would
remove the first drive, set the second drive as the new master, and
run the XP setup program again. Now I would expect to see the drive.

Unfortunately, since someone or something somewhere insists on
stripping away the attribution lines, we can no longer identify the
cluck who originally inspired this erudite discussion.

One other thing I forgot to ask is is the 160GB drive serial ATA? If
so then you need to install the driver for the motherboard SATA
interface.
