Assuming all that you wrote is accurate - I am not going to check - then I
agree; you're right about Microsoft. Now, that said, how does that justify
piracy in any way?
If you think Microsoft is misusing its market position to control the market
and pricing, contact your attorney-who will probably not take the case. Then
try the Federal Trade Commission. Next, try your Congress members. Not a
single one of them is going to take an interest - you're not a billionaire.
So, your one opportunity to make a difference legally and morally is at the
voting booth - in the primary, where you can make a difference.
Of course, if you're outside the United States, the sequence may vary but
most countries have similar recourse.
