Unable to LogIn

This is a problem with IE6 running on windows XP Home. on 3 identical
machines. Having accessed a website I am asked to log in. When I do I am
immediately returned to the login screen. The site requires that cookies are
enabled. In internet tools 'privacy' cookies are fully enabled and in
'security' everything is enabled in custom settings. I have also tried
disabling the XP security system and completely uninstalling the antivirus
programs. There are no other protection programs on these computers. My
laptop computer also running XP Home can login fine when connected to the
same system. Please, does anyone have any idea what the problem could be.

I take it this is a secure (https://) site you are trying to enter?
