I tried the consoles but my old thumbs got tired really quickly. I touch
type so I prefer using a keyboard. I don't do text messaging on cell
phones either.

Frankly, I'm not crazy about check points. If I want to save a game
right before the character dies, I should be able to save it. The new
games are more like watching a DVD than playing a game. There are
exceptions like Devil May Cry 3 and 4 but they are few and far between.
