The Right System?

Ah, questions questions...sorry about this...from what I gather the term 'All in wonder' prefixed to a graphics card means that you can watch TV/capture video from your monitor. Is that right, and does anyone have an opinion on whether it's worth having (for an extra 40 quid). Having an extra TV would be quite handy. Does it require any more technical know-how to set up or a specialised monitor etc?

Simply put ... these cards are aimed at "Multimedia/Video" aspects of computing, no "special" monitor is needed but you'll do well to get as large as possible, 19/21" monitor for your "viewing" pleasure.

Serious Gamers would much prefer a card without these "added extras". ;)

though an AIW 9800 can be soft modded to a 9800 pro...

though that in itself is getting old.
HEY!

dont be talking down to the 9800pro :( i only just got mine :(.

Reefy, For what it is, its an awesome card theres no doubting that BUT when you can play your favourite game on full settings above 35fps then you do start to doubt its abilities. Suppose it IS just that ONE game - everything else is superb.

Im gonna stop digging a hole here

I agree with you, its an awesome card, i love it, great value too!

I just ordered one of them Artic Cooling REV 3 VGA silencers and a pack of that Artic Silver 5 thermal paste, so i should be overclocking it. Whats the program i'm always seenig being used in the overclocking of radeon cards? And where can i get it?
