Switching on RTP again - but how to deal with alerts?

Like Robin, I don't find the balloons a big deal - but there is a deeper
and
more important issue, which is the inability to tell Defender to ignore
certain actions. My several-time-daily notifications of the dubious
behaviour
of ATWPK2.exe are getting irritating, because they're completely pointless
repetitions and I have no way of informing Defender of that fact.

ok guys it is friday- no ckpoints from WD all week on both computers since I
unchecked the first notify box and checked the second, System Restore has
created restore points almost every day- only 2 days (not in a row) were
there nothing at all.

All going smoothly here too, with no defender checkpoints at all, but system
checkpoints every couple of days, a popup bubble at every startup, and also
whenever I start AOL, but no records of these warnings in History log. Both
boxes are ticked. Next week I'll try unticking one of them and see what
happens.
