What's "Memorial Day"? We don't have this day in Austria...

Herfried,

Exactly therefore it is good placed in the local settings.
As far as I know is Chrismass even in the EU not in all countries on the
same day.
But that country has even totaly other characters than we.

And I am sure that those days you did not know from my other message are in
Austria also, it are very much Catholic Holidays.

Yep. They only have other names, and Austria is a mostly Catholic
country.

ACK. I know that. I only wanted to point out that this is not holiday
in all countries in the world.

;-)

Thats what i thought when this thread was first started. How are you going to keep track of
everyone holidays, especially when some are considered "religious" holidays (Christmas, Easter, I
will not try to spell the jewish holiday that happens near Christmas, but you know what i mean,
kwanza, etc). These holidays may or may not be recognised by the government of the country, and
if you are in a locale that is in more than one country then whos rules stand? Sounds like a can
of worms to me.

So are dates Rick,

Most countries with the Arabian characters for numbers use
dd-mm-yy

a few use others.

Can we just stop beating this dead horse?

=) I haven't seen a thread like this since the great multi-threaded war...
I remember my CTO stating before we went into epic battle, "MEN! 50 you are
going in... 25 of you ain't comin back!"

Just to prolong it a little longer, This reminds me of the Try Catch Thread
about two months ago, remember that ?, Its what Ali G would call
'Threadside Massive' if he were a programmer.
