Start typing goes back to first character

This just started today. When typing in any field I start typing 789. What
they system does is type 987. After each character you type the cursor resets
itself to the beginning of the field. This is driving me crazy. Any help
would be appreciated.
 
You perhaps have a different regional language in use. Check your Control
Panel Regional settings, and also that Arabic or Hebrew, or some other
language which reads right to left is not active. Check the International
tab in Access Options.
