Very strange this haven’t come across this before.

Has anyone else?

Connect PC> push start> everything starts but nothing shows on the monitor;

Now push the reset button> and hey presto everything appears it posts 1 bleep runs starts everything is fine. Now reboot and it works, if I shut down its back to square one.

Have checked the obvious jumpers wiring etc: all seems correct no hard ware problems no software problems.

Dodgy Graphics Card? But it is a bit strange, will have a think, sure others will join in to provide help:thumb:

Nope I don`t think it`s that tried two in place of the original;)

definetly double check the pins assignments

take out the rest one
just try the power on on its own

play around with them

what motherboard is it?
i gather its one u deal with lots and lots
could be a manufacturer fault on the board!
dont rule that out just yet!

I was busy with some other *&%$t ... err, person.

POWER!

PCChips ... ... you'll learn.

Ok, yes, seen it before ... it was a combination of ECS MB (PCChips expensive crap) and underpowered power supply ... or maybe the 'cheap' case was at fault.

Have you added a new USB something or other?

I have an Enermax PSU that has one "feed" faulty ... plug a HD on it and the PC will boot normally, to a black screen ... press restart, and the power surge then seems to be enough to start that feed up ... took me a long time to find that bugger.

I could be wrong though.

Not built by me:eek: mine work:p never had a complaint YET.:D

:p I will strip it down and use a ASUS A7V8X-X with all the components.
Thats what will work:D checked PSU :thumb:
Its either that or drop it out the window "BANG"
Still don`t work:lol:
