Just Enuf 2B Dangerous

I have a blank credit application on my website. I would like our customers
to see the padlock and/or the https://... as the url when they are on this
page, knowing the information they type in is being submitted to us securely.

I have already purchased a secure certificate from my host and it is on the
server assigned to my account.

1) How do I get this page to become secure on my FP website?

2) I'm trying to get the results from this page sent to me via email.
However, the following message appears: "this form cannot be configured to
send results via email. The website may be located at a disk-based location
or on a server that has not been configured to send email."

I've spoken (at great length, many times) to godaddy.com (my host and from
whom I purchased the SSL) and they said my page is not scripted to send email.

Can anyone prevent me from banging my head on the wall? Any help is GREATLY
appreciated.

....adding to Tom's answer, the FrontPage server extensions forms to email
transport must be configured on the host server to have the form results
sent via email.

*However*, the content will *not* be secure or encrypted, so this is not a
viable means.

: You have to create a absolute URL to the first page you want to be in SSL
mode. Example:
:
: https://www.yourdomain.com/folder/pagename.htm then you have to create
link back to the non SSL part
: of your site via http://www.yourdomain.com/default.htm

I fear I will be showing my blatant ignorance, but how do I create an
absolute URL - is this done through FP?

Thank you for sharing your vast knowledge with those of us who lack!

Yes, Thomas's second sentence in his response is an example of how to do
it.
