I would uninstall it first, then do a clean up, scan disk and defrag before
installing Sygate.

If you can afford it, get SystemSuite 5.0 at www.v-com.com It's a great
program with a good clean up, registry fixer, defrag and registry defrag. It
also comes with an AV and firewall (made by Sygate).

Thanks again I was just about to install the download of Sygate and give it
a try.
The SystemSuite 5.0 actually looks like exactly what I want in one program
as now I do basically the same thing with different programs and at times it
makes a mess. For all the features it has, I don't have a problem with the
$50 as it would be a time saver and would permit me to not pull out so many
hairs when dealing with this kind of problem.

I did not even think about it, but I am already using one of Sygates
products, the Partition Commander® Pro, its the only one that woks on every
version of Windows including Windows Server 2003 and for me has worked
perfectly.
