gs! Pardner Or Pardnerette! ;-)
I am not sure of all this talk of replacement of pc with OS or getting rid
of storage.

....We're Talking "OnLine/Web-Based" Storage, Here! (It Is Already Proven NOT
To Be a BAD Thing!)
There is always need for cheap PC for some people to have access by using
pay as you go. However there is also people who want full control and
ownership of their information hence wants their own storage.

....This Is The Current State of The "OnLine/Web-Based" Model!
Sure there is the network, but would everyone put all their personal and
financial info out on the net for crooks to crack and profit.?
not till the day there is proof positive there is no software bug and
vulnerability, or no more crooks. We know the possibility of that in the
near future.

Have NO Real World Application & Would Go UnNoticed Were It Not For The

Most Losses of "Secure" Data Are Associated w/The Actual Physical Loss of
The Hardware Containing The Data i.e. Laptops, PC's, Or, Employee Theft of
Data, Internally! ...NOT Hackers!!!

The Shift From a PC Based OS To a Web Based OS Is NOT a BAD THING!!! ...Plus
There Already Exists a Proven Track Record For This!

It's Jus'That, Vista May Well Be a Causality Of The Webification of The OS!

Show me how you came up with this information -- your assertions so far in
this thread have just been obvious trolling attempts, and people who've
replied are only humoring you until they get bored.

There will never be a complete shift to a web-based OS. Ever. Web
appliances will become more powerful as time goes on -- for example,
refrigerators can already re-order supplies online. However, I and most
other people don't use their refrigerator for surfing the web or doing our
taxes.

Haha, whats the bridge for? To jump off? I too like my files on MY hard
drive. Privacy is an important thing that the people believe in. They aren't
going to give all their personal files away. You say this will happen in the
next few years? What are we going to do with the computers we already have?
Hey, there are plenty of just fine computers out there. Oh, and thats a good
question that I have always wondered... "Without an OS, how do you connect to
a network?" I already know what you will say: "It's all new, you don't know"

Oh, and please stop typing your messages like a 14 year old girl would

Haha, you give me a link to the encyclopedia that anyone can edit! I can go
in there and change the article to say that it will cure cancer as well, if
it doesn't already.

I understand the concept. I just want my stuff on my computer. It's a
privacy/ownership thing. Identity theft is bad enough as it is.

Well, there is a Windows Live Desktop Search, but no Windows Live Desktop...
Maybe tomorrow...
