Dale is also afraid to back up his bugling and grandstanding with EVIDENCE.

So he backs off.

This is what he said:

"DRM sucks."

But he can't defend that casual, unsupported assertion with FACTS...

So, he runs for the tall grass with his tail between his legs.

No Surprises There.

Feel free to fill us in on the strategic and legal issues. And where you
got your law degree.

Dale

Search the group for posts with Dale and DRM in them. I have voiced my
feelings about what is wrong with DRM many times. So I would only have been
jumping through your hoop to respond to your request. I don't do parlor
tricks.

If you feel my statement that DRM sucks is wrong, feel free to fill us in
with what it is you like about DRM.

But this is not a case of each [sic] company [sic] pointing their [sic]
finger and neither taking responsibility. This is definitely Sonic's
responsibility. They new [sic] it was coming. -- Pogue Dale

1. I have no intention of interfering with Microsoft's Game Plan.

2. To do so would be quite unethical.

3. Pogue Dale is obviously quite clueless on these more complex legal and
strategic matters involving the software business and Microsoft's position
in it.

Pogue Dale has asserted:

"DRM sucks."

The Burden of PROOF for that anserine assertion is on HIM.

That's what I thought. You have nothing to say, you're just trolling.

That became clear to me some months ago. He's been killfiled here ever
since.

Re: This driver is blocked due to compatibility issues - Sonic Solutions

had problem with new dell vista home premium desktop.
only answering as a dell system customer, & their fix which worked for me.

first area i searched was this forum:
http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=vista&thread.id=8536
(page six has answer)

in the forum was a link to roxio. it discusses cause:
http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/Creator/000131CR (this page loads slowly)

the dell fix is here:
http://support.dell.com/support/top...d=18940F4FBEEB11DB9DC1AF19BD307B73&l=en&s=gen

i'm offering my experience only with a new dell system, e521 model. i am not
experienced enough to offer tech advice. i come here for that. only trying
to pay back for what these microsoft newsgroups have given so freely to me!

thank you. len kiesling
