Running Windows-based av to kill active malware is like striking
a match to see if what you are standing in is water or petrol.
 
i assume you upgraded from 98 to xp..that tends to cause a lot of conflicts with xp in the driver situation since yer hardware was originaly installed with 98 drivers..i would recomend formatting the drive and install xp without 9
 
well here your answers :)

it is posible run win 98 and win xp on your computer, you need create two partitions and install first win98 on partition 1 and then install win xp on partition 2, that will create a boot file that will show up when your computer is starting and it lets you select wich one you want to run. you can uninstall win xp from ypur computer only if you have still your file system as you had with win 98 and that should be FAT32, if you change the file system to NTFS wich is the one that win xp uses you are not able to get back your win 98 operating system.

be sure that your system or any sistem supports very very well windows xp because a lotof people like change their operating system ignoring that it needs some hardware requirements before installation, there are minimal requirements to install the OS (operating system) but those "minimum" doesn't mean that your system will run faster and reliable with newer versions of actually any program ;)

xp sucks cause i play a game and it keeps cutin off in one day i had to send about ten error reports for a game
 
XP is just fine, the game has a problem or your computer
does. Tell us what the game is, your system and what keeps
cutting off. Also tell us what you mean by cutting off.
This could mean your modem is disconnecting, which could be
an ISP issue or it could mean that your girl friend is
Lorena Bobbit.
