My PC is configured as dual boot for Win2000 and Win ME. When booted to
running Win2000, accessing Internet is fast and satisfactory. But when
booted to running at Win ME, it is sluggush in browsing Internet.
Obviously it is not network problem or ISP problem but is there any
setting in ME I can try triming to make its access to Internet faster ???

Will upgrade to XP Home a solution ??

You are making an assumption, here. And, it's false. It's quite possible
that you have your tcp/ip settings wrong or not optimal. You don't say
'how' you are connecting to the 'internet', so I can't help you.

Try here: www.wown.com
or: www.practicallynetworked.com

You just answered your own question. It's not the OS, it's the user.

Not unless you know what you are doing, with regards to setting up a network
connection. Read above sites. Then, get back to us.

You are making an assumption, also. I don't recall OP stating what type of
connection they have.

Also you might try CableNut cablenut.com

I had a connection that was modem up at 33.6, and tv cable down. CableNut
got me from 200 to 700!
