Setup does not recognize SATA harddrive

Yes, the SiL3114 folder is the one for your SATA. You should be fine now :)
Just remember to hit F6 to install the SATA drivers via the floppy disk.
 
The SiL3114 folder is the SATA drive folder. Instead of browsing through
the cd, let it autoplay and you will see the Graphical User Interface.
Search for the "Install SATA drivers" or similar and it should give you a
description and possibly tell you if you need to create a floppy disk.

You might want to have several handy.

Yes, finally I can install the XP now.
But just wonder why when I press F6 there is no screen or response.
 
I got another problem after I installed it successfully.
Sometimes it cannot bootup and stay in the BIOS said that book disk failure,
ask to insert system disk.

Then I reboot the machine and press F8 into boot memu and exit then it can
boot into XP.
 
Hi,

Someone told me if I use the CD of XP with SP2, I don't need to install
SATAII driver.
Is that true ?
