and the other in which badgolferman mentions AV-Comparatives? your
question in that subthread might have gotten you this:

Page two (I think) mentions that they used XP for their tests. Page one
gives you their opinion of the worth of such tests.

That is a very nice link. I think a reasonable person should understand
the reasons why they were cautious about the worth of the tests. I for
one would really want to know how the different products run on
identical systems. I also note that the AV products tested seemed to
be home solutions. I am interested in how SEP would perform or
it's predecessor, SAV 10.x.
