sd/mmc socket on pc!

is there any other way i can get this to work because i want to try and avoid opening my computer unit..is there a universal driver that can work for all MMC sockets that i can download??
 
Download PC doctor, or any other hardware testing software. Let it check the card reader and see if its operational---- Hey have you tested this MMC card on another computer( do we know if the card works??) If it fails the testing it should have a link to the site where you can obtain the drivers.
