LOL jst realised my new board has SATA II conns on it DOH

do they look the same as Sata connectors?

Standard are Orange. The SATA 2 are Red on my board. Altho different manufacturers I would thnk would use different colours.

would anyone know if the asus A8N-sli deluxe s939 have sata II sockets i would appreciate if someone would let me know fingers crossed

Ahh, i not even sure if it has them but seeing how your HDD is ATA instead of S-ATA, so you dont really need to worry.
Built my first computer in the summer, thinking of building anouther soon.
