This discussion as I've seen it so far, has a fundamental
flaw in it. The flaw is the *lights.* An application like this
wants double lights: modeling lights to see light and
shadow on the subject; and flash lamps for making the
picture. The modeling lights are turned on and off as
needed; and the flash lamps, well, they flash. Thru test
shots the photographer finds how to get things right;
and when work time comes he does it as planned.
Simple.
And no 1500-watts lamp setups needed. A day's work
can run off batteries from Sears Roebuck, and it is
independent of if power is available or not. In my
view, *that* is how this discussion should be going.
