Frankly, I've used many different brand of routers. In the past, yeah,
it did matter what brand you used, and Linksys was one of the best. Now
tho, it doesn't really matter what brand you use as they all seem to
work about the same. People still have niggles connecting their X-Box to
various routers but I havn't really investigated why that is. Is your
router protected with a good surge protector?

Yeah, I keep all my systems on APC UPS boxes. Router and switch on
their own dedicated system.
