The problem is, however, unique to those who have it, since I don't and
probably many others don't either. This means it's actual cause may be
unknown.
All I'm trying to do is get you to think and try to help yourself. A
technical problem such as this can't be resolved by simply saying I've got it
too, you have to look for the common situation and then prove it by changing
something.
Another of the posters in this thread had stated in a separate post in a
different forum, and finally here, that Symantec Resource Protection 2006 may
be involved. If others also have this software, you may want to try disabling
that temporarily to confirm that's the issue. Since this isn't happening to
everyone it's obviously created by some type of interaction with something
else.
If you want to get rid of it, you might want to help find the real problem.
