the winsock2 is not installed. in the recovery console I
just let it run, I'm not really following what you mean
by "What actions did you take...?"
 
Well nothing will happen unless you take some action. Such as restoring the
altered hive from a recent backup.

I have no recent backup. That's why I would like to know
how to reinstall the winsock completely.

Since you have no backups you're left with un-doing the damage manually or
reinstalling the operating system.

Using regedt32.exe you'll need to recreate the structure exactly as it was.
Hopefully you remember where and what the structure was.
