So i can improve my software-I accept criticism.
Me neither, it wasn't the GUI that beat me, really, I guess it wasn'tNow I'm not the pro graphical artist, but I really don't get the Gimp
GUI-bashers... I'm just afraid they base their opinions on outdated
versions.

Yup, 98SE, nothing wrong with it that wasn't designed in.I never had problems with crashes, not even with development versions
that are sometimes available from the usual Gimp-Windows site.
Then again, I'm running Win2000, maybe you're trying on Win98? I can
imagine that that would give more problems...

I've been using Paint Shop Pro 6 for years and I'm wondering what, if
any, are some comparable freeware apps. I mostly use it for web
graphics formats for editing palettes and resizing, and sometimes for
screen captures, too.
I'm suprised no one has mentioned PhotoFiltre. It's small and fast.
