polycarbonate is used, the production process uses UV a lot.

Of course they will degrade, I just wanted to know how fast .
Data vaporising next year would not have been convenient ;-)

They have proven,brand aside, quite robust and digital.
They tend to either work or not and last almost no time or a long time..

Yeah, I only need my CD-Rs to last for a few years, until the next
generation of small portable storage arrives.
