I don't know if this is significant or not, but prior posts indicated that
the full command was "shutdown -r -t 0 -m \\computername" in order reboot.
In your case, you would substitute the "-s" parameter for the "-r" parameter
shown in Jeffrey's example in order to shutdown instead of reboot. If you
are issuing the command "shutdown -m\\(name of my networked computer)"
without the other parameters, as it appears from your message, then that may
be the problem.
