Hey all, just wanted to share my pain with you all!

The other day (thurday around 5:30pm to be abit more precise >..>) i was playing football with some friends when i jumped for the ball and landed on my right foot and it just gave way on me :/ . I was in quite abit of pain for a while, i had my foot in a bucket of freezing cold water till it turned blue to try and get rid of the pain! Anyway, i got to the hospital and waited there for a few ours till i was seen and they x rayed it and ive broken me ankle :(. So now im going to be out of action for around 6 weeks they say! My bones are so damn brittle!

See thats what happens when physical exercise is done. Should be outlawed.

That sounds pretty painful!! Hope it heals up soon :)

I'm on about 10 double strenght Ibriprofen a day to try and keep the pain at bay, dont get much sleep either :(. I've only got a temp cast on at the moment because of how it broke and how swollen it is. I go back tomorrow (sunday) to have a proper cast put on if the swelling is gone down quite abit.

The bad thing is that i'm supposed to keep my leg elevated over my heart height when sitting or laying, so i cant go on my computer much as im side ways if ya get what i mean :p. So i only come on me comp about 20 mins a day :(.

Once i got the proper cast on it should be ok though ;).
 
Well, then I wish you get your proper cast ASAP, so you can at least spend lot's of time here!!

Very sorry to hear of this news my thoughts are with you. It has to be the worse time of the year for this to occur. Rather winter than Spring/summer.

I guess all i can say here is GET WELL SOON!!!!! ~Time is the greatest healer of all time ~

Well just got back from the hospital and i got some good news :D. I wont need a titanium pin put in my ankle now, because how the bone broke, it didnt move, its more like a crack :).



But my leg is far too swollen to put a full cast on still, so im going back on easter sunday to see if its gone down enough to put a full cast on :/.



Must say there were some fine nurses taking care of me though ;).
 
You take care Reefa, the price you paid was too high unfortunately, no one deserves to have a broken leg just for having a bit of fun.

lol when u go there and they put a cast in it will take prob 10-15 mins at least
so fingers crossed it will be a hot looking nurse that puts in on for you! so u can have a good butchers at her. i agree some nice looking nurses in hospitals!!! :)

Its a pointer to those looking forward to meeting beautiful nurses, its easy as Reefa had done it, just break your ankle.........:D:D:D

I presume u r drinking lots and lots of milk!
seen ne nice nurses recently then?

Went hopital recently one of my mates is there, some nice nurses in his hospital, and they were taking really good care of him too..... lucky bugger!!! lol
 
I went hospital today to have a proper cast fitted, and its all changed since i broke me wrist a few years back! The new casts are much better, more like fibre glass (like what robin reliants are made of) than plaster of paris now!

There were no young nurses today :/ . I musta made a bad impression when i went last time :p.

Anyway, i got this cast on for 2 weeks i think, then abitta physio therapy and i should be done!
 
So you've had to cancel your taking part in the London Marathon then? Bit of a shame, innit?
 
Yeah, i was really looking forward to that aswell, been practicing day and night :rolleyes: .


You all know me too well -_- .
