Recurring Meeting Issue

In Outlook 2007, we have an administrative asst who sets up recurring
meetings for a group on managers. She has suddenly discovered that if she
needs to make a change to just one of the meetings, such as location (in the
body of the meeting comments), and then sends the update, the meeting
duplicates itself.
Can anyone provide any insight into this and a method to prevent the
duplication.

Do you have all recent updates and hotfixes installed?

Are any of the recipients using an iphone? If so, it’s a known issue.
