We are experiencing the same problem with the mso.dll and the ppcore.dll. We
are already using Windows Certified drivers from HP. We also tried 2
different versions actually, both certified. Yet we are still having this
problem on exit of PowerPoint and Word. Any new information?

Echo S said:I can't really help you resolve the issue with the HP printer specifically,
but if you install a Windows-certified printer driver (one that ships with
Windows) and set it as the default printer, I bet that will take care of the
immediate issue of PPT 2007 crashing when closing.
Here are instrux for installing a Windows-certified printer driver and
setting it as default:

I'd choose a generic driver like the one used in that FAQ.

'm
getting a little different error when I close PowerPoint 2007 - although
the
actual error signature is the same (ppocore.dll), when I send the error
report it tells me that there is an issue with an EPSON printer driver on
Vista and to download the fix for it. I'm running XP SP2 and have an HP
7780.
I'm not sure from prior posts that for folks running XP and HP printers
that
anything has been solved.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate
it.
