John,
When I go to OE/Tools/Newsgroups, al ist of Newsgroups
does appear. I did not recognize any of them as this
group. I tried going to a few and now have subscribed to
four that are listed as "microsoft.public.ae....." in
the Subscribed Window under Tools. When I click
onOE/Tools/Accounts, it shows "Microsoft News" and
"news-server.(followed by my internet provider's
address)" It really may be just as well if I give up on
this for now and try again at a later time.
Before leaving I would like to squeeze in one more
question. I have a "video" saved in Windows Movie Maker
as an AVI Video. Is it possible to burn that AVI to a DVD
using Windows Movie Maker? I think that I have read both
"Yes" and "No" answers to that question.
Thank you very much for your help.

You are all set up and should be able
to read and post messages.
This group is:
microsoft.public.windowsxp.photos
When you select a newsgroup you should
see the current messages. To post a new
message...just click the New Post icon on
your OE Toolbar. It's like e-mail except
you are posting to the newsgroup.
Reply...is a way of sending an e-mail
message directly to the original poster and
I recommend that you don't do that unless
asked to. Instead...use the Reply All button.
If you have the Media Center version of
Windows XP, your Movie Maker should
have an option to burn to DVD...however
this method has been reported as unreliable
and the following links may be worth a look:
