So far as I can see he's supporting a.c.f, Pricelessware and all of us
here. Not all of us are determined to divide the group up into
contending camps, as you seem to be. I suppose it's rather too late
to expect you to grow up and learn to behave yourself.

I challenge that assertion, John. Susan did not " *create* a great many
enenies" - people (including yourself) *chose* _of their own free will_ to
become such, and have ever since been trying to divide the group with
their sniping. Nobody held guns to their heads. Big difference.

The former (created a great many enemies) is a fact. The latter a matter
of opinion.

Thanks for the response.

What follows is my general response, and is not directed to John in
particular:

I don't think I've been taking sides per se, as I have no particular axe
to grind with either "camp". It's a personality trait of mine that I
don't receive criticism particularly well, so any axes I have to grind
are with the people who criticise me. It occured to me that my
cooperation with Susan would be beneficial, so I guess many can think,
perhaps rightly so, that I am biased favourably towards Susan. But it's
not like I have a list of who's working for Axis of Good, and those that
have been seduced by the dark side of the Force.

I generally downgrade the opinion I have for people who dispense harsh
criticism on this group. After all, what constructive result could one
expect from such people?

So, let's all hold hands in a big circle, let the lion lie down with the
lamb, and so forth. It's only a fricking newsgroup.

Susan decided on confrontation to wrest the PL site from Genna. That
approach is likely to create enemies rather than friends. She could
have politely requested the domain from Genna. She didn't do that.

Don't blame others for the divisions that Susan herself created. Or
are you now going to start an "anti-John" vote and not call that
being "divisive" ?

I'll have to say 'bye'. Whatever, whenever and whomever, it is ALL

No, John - it doesn't "create" enemies (or friends) at all - people choose
"sides" of their own free will in spite of the (not always
well-intentioned) efforts of lobbyists to persuade them one way or the
other.

Why on earth would I want to doo that, John? I have _much_ better things
to do ... and helping your small but vocal minority any further in its
obvious mission to destroy this newsgroup is not one of them.

John, I've known Genna for over five years. So have you (most likely
longer than I). But Genna wished to move on. Susan was willing to
try and take her place. In the eyes of most here she has.

Whether you or I think she has is unimportant. She has.
