Thanks, Rob. So much for CutePDF making "an exact .pdf" - its feature
set is no better than any other free PDF makers, and siginifcantly less
comprehensive than PDF995, which also doesn't offer what I need, alas.

Sorry I missed that. However, that was because in my case I never put
links in documents. Still, it meets my limited needs.
