I am not sure, because I just ran the MS Access database without
opening any databases and the message show to install MS Access which
I beleive it updates something.

It is possible to miss one but can not tell which one or MS Access
just corruppted on those machines.

The symptom is application title bar missing and does not show in task
manager and unable to print reports which 18 pages and more,
After running the MS Access, all problems are gone.

Is it Microsoft magic?

Thanks millions for helping,

A message to install Microsoft Access does not install any updates, it means
you have more then one version running on your machine.

1. What versions of Access do you have installed?
2. What version is the database in?
3. Is this databse an .MDE?
4. What is the Make and Model of the printer?

Hi,

Finally, I know what is real reason.
One of the applicaiton which created by other user using MS Access run
time version to run his stuff.

Once users running the running version of databases then it changes
the all application running using run time version.

The MS Acess fixes itself when I run a full version of application
without databases then change back to full version.

It makes sense now that the database come back after I running.
It does not appear in the task manager when it is run time version.

I still have one question is that does MS Access run time version to
limit pages numbers?

Thanks millions for helping,

I do not know why the Runtime limits the page printing. It must be
something in the code and without being to review the code... I should also
note, I have never heard of such a thing. However, to avoid this issue, you
should change the shortcut to resemble the following..

"c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 2003\Office\msaccess.exe"
"YourDriveLetter:\MainFolder\YourDatabase.mdb"

For you database.

Yes, you are right, it is possible that there are some code need
review.
My reports use charts, sub reports, dynamic columns and get data
source at run time which is relative complex report.
The problem is I can not debug or set break point when it is running
at run time version, but it is working fine using full version.

Do you have any suggestions that some functions do not support run
time version, but full version?

Thanks again,

Unfortunately, no I don't have a list... If I understand you correctly, the
report runs past 18 pages in the full version? If that is true... then you
are going to have review the code OR post it here perhaps someone (maybe me)
can find what is causing the report to stop at page 18.

Thanks for helping,
The whole report has too many code.
I will narrow down to specific functions or command and post here.
Thanks again,

Okay, will wait for that...

The PCs install both full and runtime version.
I just did a research that runtime verison should be exactly as full
version only design feature disabled.

It seems that the problem is users install both runtime and full
verion on the same PC.

Thanks again for helping,

inungh,

That should not be the problem as there are MANY installs with Runtime and
Full Version. Is it possible for you to send this database to me?

Thanks for your offer.
The database is just too big to send.
Thanks again for helping,

Well, not sure what else I can do... will look around to see if anything
can explain this. By the way, what is too big? Have you tried zipping it?

Thanks for asking,
It links to 11 backend mdb and databases have more than 400 M data.
The report has 20 sub reports and using dynamic columns. there are
many code in the report to get record source.

Even I can send you the database, there is so many enviroment to setup
to test.

I can do is to put show message on the code and to see which line of
code freeze and look form there, since I am unable to set breakpoint
on the run time version and full version does not have any probelm.

Thanks millions again,
