P4P800 1016 BIOS

Hi,

That's normal. When you first start up your PC, or hit the
reset button, you will see the BIOS version number briefly
displayed (if you don't enable the "full screen boot
image").

Asus BIOS programmer should be able to do the very slight
extra job to update the 080009 number, but they didn't.
I've emailed them the problem when BIOS 0812 was out, but
they didn't reply!

Thanks Stephen, that's just what I needed to know, that the splash
screen could be turned off.

What ... read the documentation? :-)
