Outbox

There is a message I tried to send a long time ago that has been sitting in
my Outbox and not sending. Every time I open Windows Mail, a notification
pops up that says, "One or more messages in your Outbox do not have a valid
account specified. Would you like to use your default account to send these
messages?" It then has a Yes or No selection. No matter what I push, that
email will not leave my Outbox and if I try to delete it, a notification
always pops up that says, "An unknown error has occured." The body of the
email itself is like a website that won't display the page. It says,
"Message could not be displayed." The original body is gone. How do I get
rid of this email so the first notification won't pop up everytime I open
Windows Mail?

I would like to note that for over four weeks we are unable to send e-mails
- having the exact problem of a message in the outbox which will note clear.
I have had two young computer people here to try and help but with no joy.
We are over sixty and trying very hard to get 'with it' computer wise. Is
there any hope - except e-mails via hotmail? - can only cope with simple
answers.
