Given that we appear to have some major sleuths on this newsgroup,
what's everyone using as their search engine these days?

It was ranked best by some computer mag.

I used to think Google was the bees knees, but recently I've been
getting teed off with vast numbers of hits that just refer to other
search sites. A right pain when you're trying to track down a
specialist freeware app!

1banana is a nice search engine. Take a look at the Power Search facility
which enables you to assign several sites to each day of the week and open
them all together or singly.
