OT: Cross Posting

And cross posting spreads those flame wars quickly to all linked
newsgroups. *That* is my major beef with cross posting.

Agreed! Except that "5 or 10" groups may be excessive. I've seen printer
questions posted to a half dozen computer groups, but *not* to the best
group for the question - comp.periphs.printers. Sigh....

Oh yes well just perhaps they didn't have time to search through 80,000
groups that day.
And just perhaps that group was not carried by their ISP.

Know all know nothing.

Any who but a complete knoh head would subscribe to a printer group?
