1 - You bought a Celeron 2.0Ghz CPU wih is not much faster than 1 a
Ghz P3.

2 - Youre trying to sell it on newgroups which have NOTHING to do with
CPUs... theres plenty of intel newsgroups.

3 - this is not a FORSALE newsgroups. While people may post about
VALUE of buying or selling of video cards - its still a NO NO to post
sales of such here.

Trying to offload a CPU thats worth about $25USD is silly. Give it
away. A $10 used 1.2Ghz Duron would be a better deal.

I have a TBird 1Ghz somehere in a drawer collecting dust.

Um, the Celeron II 2.0Ghz cpu is a p4 class cpu and it is in every instance
the same as a P4 2.0 except for a smaller cache.

Smaller cache is a really bad thing with a long pipeline architecture.
Read any review (like the Anantech budget CPU comparison from
December), the Celeron performance is *HORRIBLE* awful awful,
embarrassing compared to P4, Athlon, or even Duron.

Especially Duron ;-) The Celeron costs twice as much, and looses in almost
every comparison (comparing Duron 1600, something like 25 pounds? and
Celeron 2.4)

No-one who knows what they're buying will opt for the Celeron. Unfortunately
for AMD, almost no-one knows what they're buying ;-)
