Set your bios to boot from cd .
Run new xp cd , it should tell you that an operating system is installed already . Follow instructions to delete the partition this is on . Re-format this partition and load new xp on to this .
you should now have new xp installed .
Or ,
Piggy back hard drive to another machine, clean hard drive and re-format to NFTS . Re-install hard drive to your machine and load new xp .
