That's the change Paul made in the 1.4 tree. Like he said, it'll take some
investigation and testing to see if that truly fixes the issue or just masks
it for this case.

It seems to be working. Or at least it stopped throwing that
ArgumentOutOfRange exception.

Yes, that's as good as the change that I made to the 1.4 tree. It's not
perfect, of course, as you might use a WiFi adapter tomorrow that returns
200 bytes instead of 196, but, for this specific case that we didn't have
for testing, it should get you going.
