DC, Nonetheless, it is a VERY common practice in newsgroups to do so.
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that it will not happen.

He said "adversit". He was just playing with someone's misspelling.
Relax, John.

Bad call there... how unusual !! Since I don't give a fig one way or
the

Just playing with the idea that poking fun at Alan of Redmond is
nearly, by definition, "MS-bashing", the two being nearly inseparable.
"Humor." Look it up.

Hmmm... odd to say the least. I didn't see John's comment as poking fun,
any more than I saw it as disagreeing. Seems more like a really weak
opportunity (weaker than usual) to further what's become your main
agenda in this group.

I don't think I'd know what to look under, if it's anything like your
brand of logic - I don't think they've gotten round to officially naming
all of the MS-paranoia psychoses yet. Perhaps you could ask one of the
nice men in the white coats if they could write down the big, long name
of it for you.

Hmm, I've always thought that the so-called MS-paranoia psychoses were
primarily due to the fact that those who came in recently don't realise
what those of us who pre-date the IBM-PC are talking about :-)

Cheers,

I guess it might predispose somebody to one or more strains of the
psychosis. Must admit, I can't recall it being a problem in the days of
the IBM 360. Mind you, I think there might have been a bit of IBM
bashing from the NCR adoration league though... did they manage to
survive in the cash register market I wonder? :-)

WEEEEEEEeeoooooOOOO!!!
OK! I guess I'll add my $.02 worth then flat out ignore this
topic. FWIW: I use it. I like it. I didn't cost me more
that the
time to download it.

Bye,
Helen
