Would someone be willing to scrounge up the links? I'm somewhat
exhausted at the moment. If you can wait, I'll wait until a day I feel
more up to it (hopefully in the next couple of days).

Does this seem like a good definition to use for Webware?

Webware: On-line software (may have related services such as on-line
storage).

I added a Ware column too - it appears we should have one.

Sometimes the web page with info is different from the URL where you
actually do the work. . . Which one should be shown?

Yeah, most web services require registration even though they're free.
I hope people aren't put off when they see "Registerware" -- it's
definitely free for them to use. Oh well, I guess they'll figure it
out.

Yeah, it does require money for postage. But isn't the concept cool?

Yeah, even though it's limited to 30 words, it's amazing that you can
do this with the web (paralleling the Pricelessware TTS category). The
quality that AT&T is achieving is AMAZING -- People, try this out!
Good for answering machine messages if you sound North American and
want something British-sounding (or vice versa).

Calling the browser an "operating system" makes people think. This is
a paradigm shift, folks. We are starting to move desktop apps onto the
web. Someone please write a free web-based Office suite!

I use this all the time. I love the email-reminder feature and
recurring appointments.

Another one I use a lot e.g. need to email someone a 35 MB file.

This one is cool -- it's a bookmarklet. Drag it to your Links toolbar.
To use it, click it on your Links toolbar, then draw a rectangle on
your browser. You will see the width and height in a tooltip.

I'm trying to use this one more than dictionary.com -- I'm hoping to
learn which is better when.

Another one I use a lot. I love how it syncs with my Palm. Funny --
Yahoo's webware beats all other Palm desktop applications IMO. It just
works.

There's a link at the bottom called "Launch Web Messenger" -- I was
quite impressed when I tried it.

Yeah, a number of free web services are ad supported. Even Google has
ads! I hope this won't disqualify these web services because they are
extremely useful.
