The Jaguar Marketing System is the most powerful online marketing system
I''ve seen.
I would value your opinion.
Click this link to see it http://hotshorturl.com/hc33

I get the outbox message, and this as well:

The host 'shawmail' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered
the server name correctly.
Account: 'shawmail', Server: 'shawmail', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

valid account specified. Would you like to use your default account to send
these messages?" I am unable to send email but have no problem receiving. I
have checked my gmail settings in the account, tried the windows fix
mentioned above, and checked my anti-virus software so far.

What Windows fix mentioned above? Most of the frequent responders here
don't read the messages the same way you do, and therefore have a hard time
finding any previous messages in the thread.

What antivirus programs do you have? Some of them cause problems in
Windows Mail, although seldom immediately.

Have you ever had a Norton or McAfee antivirus program on that computer,
even one of the trial versions that come with many new computers?

Is that the full error message? If not, right click on it and copy all of
it to your
next message.

Gary,

I had the same problem as other people of having messages stuck in my outbox
and not being able to send it so I followed your below advice of selecting
the 32 bit option for windows vista. Then a "Logon to windows mail" window
pops up. It says: "Please verify that both the user name and password are
correct server." So, I type in my user name and password but it won't take.
so I don't know whether I have a wrong user name and password or if something
else is wrong. I called my internet service provider and he said that if my
server is yahoo.com, then my user name and password should be the same for my
yahoo email account. Well, it doesn't work. The "Logon to windows mail"
window still stays there so I hit "cancel" several times and I get a message
on another screen that says: "Account: " Windows Mail", server:
'pop.mail.yahoo.com, Protocol: POP3, Server Response:-ERR[AUTH] invalid
user/password', Port: 110, secure (SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90 Error
Number: 0X800CCC92.

So I am really frustrated. Can you help me? Sorry for being so wordy and
computer illiterate.

Use the Microsoft fix:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

That page offers two download options. Unless you know for sure
you have 64-bit Vista, use the 32-bit option.

Most free Yahoo accounts don't have POP access, only webmail access.
You can pay Yahoo $19.99 per year for their Mail Plus service which does
have POP access:
http://mailplus.mail.yahoo.com

You said you have an Internet service provider (ISP). Why don't you
use the POP email address furnished by your ISP?

Gary,

I am receiving the same error message and have tried downloading both the 32
and 64 bit and receive the following message "the update does not apply to
your system". Yet, I still receive the message "One or more messages in your
outbox do not have a valid account specified. Would you like to use your
default account to send these messages? Whether I respond yes or no the
outbound message will not go. Can you help?

Thanks.

Check if it's now possible the delete the messages causing the problem
or move them to the Drafts folder.

The Vista SP1 update contains this hotfix and more, but takes longer to
install.

http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/windowsvistasp1.mspx

If that doesn't help either, you probably need to use the WORKAROUND
section of:

Are you able to delete or move those messages from the Outbox folder?

Try this: delete that mail account (Tools, Accounts, select the account, Remove).
then restart Windows Mail, and recreate that account.

If no improvement, which antivirus are you running? Some of them are not very
compatible with Windows Mail.

According to your ISP's email setup instructions:
http://www.everestkc.net/index.php?module=QNA&QNA_Subject=Internet&QNA_Operation=view&Q_id=71

they don't use SSL. So, in Windows Mail go to Tools, Accounts,
select that mail account, Properties, Advanced, uncheck the box for
"This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" (Two places).

I just responded to your other message.
If the change in SSL option does not cure the problem, your Trend Micro
antivirus may be the culprit. Let us know if you get a different error
message after making that SSL option change.

I'M TRYING TO SET UP MY EMAIL ACCOUNT, IT STATES IT DOES NOT RECOGNIZE MY
SERVER IT HAS ONLY IMAP, AND POP3 WHICH DO I USE

Who is your email service provider? Or to ask that question another way,
what is the part of your email address after the @ symbol?
Your mail provider will typically have a web page that shows how to
set up an email program. If you need more help, tell us the name of
your email service provider.

By the way, please don't type in all CAPS.
